AIE Optical Safety Frames comply with Australian Standards
According to the Australian Commonwealth Work and Health Safety Act 2011, employers must, amongst other things, "provide suitable protective clothing and equipment to staff". This includes safety prescription eyewear.
To be compliant with this requirement, it is not enough to simply supply protective side shields or plastic lenses to existing glasses.
Protective prescription eyewear must comply with the AS/NZS 1337.6 standard. All AIE Optical frames comply with this standard.
